Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, this historic property in the Soulard neighborhood of South St. Louis has been restored and redeveloped in order to house the Landmark's Association, an organization with a mission to preserve, enhance, and promote the architectural heritage of St. Louis.
The property includes a rare stone masonry home which was likely built by an early settler in the 1830s. Additions were made in the 1850s and 1860s. This project was selected partly because historical buildings in the City of St. Louis are a strategic priority for natural resource conservation projects, particularly those which serve the public.
